Privacy policy

Effective October 15, 2026. This policy covers meetauctus.com only.

Who we are

Auctus publishes this website at meetauctus.com. The cataloging app at app.meetauctus.com is a separate service with its own terms. Signing up on this site does not create an account in the app.

What this site collects

If you join the early access list or The Gavel Report, we collect:

We do not ask for your name. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. A hidden field on the form is a spam check; leave it blank. It is not stored.

Cloudflare hosts the site and may keep standard request logs, including IP address, user agent, and the page requested, to operate and secure the service.

Email, via Kit

Signup is sent to Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email provider, using Kit's API. Kit stores your email address and the source tag so we can send The Gavel Report and early-access notes, and so we know which form you used. Kit's privacy policy is at kit.com/privacy.

We keep the address until you unsubscribe. Every message has an unsubscribe link. You can also write to hello@meetauctus.com and we will remove you.

The issue archive

Published issues of The Gavel Report are pages on this website. They are not hosted inside Kit. The archive is public. Placeholder drafts are labeled as drafts and are not reports of real auctions.

Cookies

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The signup form does not use a cookie. Cloudflare may use cookies that are strictly necessary to run and protect the host.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share the email address and source tag with Kit so they can deliver the messages you asked for, and with Cloudflare so they can host the site.

Children

This site is written for auctioneers and auction houses. It is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it.
